…a book. Even though I now have an iPad and the Kindle App and my netbook, nothing beats having a book flip through and it’s super handy when all electronics fail!
IT FEELS LIKE HOME WHEN…
…I get asked by tourists about what to do in the destination I’m in. Then I feel I’m at home when I can answer them really well.
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING A TRAVELLER SHOULD KNOW IS…
…that everything happens for a reason. If you miss a flight, get delayed, miss a bus, stay an extra night in a village or go off route to travel with someone else. It’s all a beautiful journey!
MY FAVORITE AIRPORT IS…
…Munich airport. It’s just so clean and friendly and spacious and after being stuck there for over a day during the Iceland volcano errupting and causing flights to be grounded I found out all the cool things you can do in it.
MY ONE IN A LIFETIME TRAVEL EXPERIENCE WILL BE…
…when I cycle half the length of Africa from Kenya to Capetown in 2012. I’ve never been to that continent and cycling it will be something else.
